Which New York State Parks welcome the most visitors?

In January, Governor Hochul announced record-setting attendance numbers for state parks, historic sites, campgrounds and trails operated by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. There were a reported 88.3 million visits to the State Parks system in 2024, which is a four million, or five percent increase from the previous record year in 2023.
