Meet the Folks Helping Guide Our 2024 Bike Tours!

This is the first in a series of articles highlighting some of the talented individuals helping guide our Cycle the Hudson Valley and Cycle the Erie Canal bike tours in 2024. Without the dedicated support of guides, volunteers, riders, and staff, our fully-supported tours wouldn’t be half as magical, or anticipated, as they are.

First up, let us introduce you to Allan Friedman!

Allan is honored and excited to take over on Cycle the Hudson Valley for the inimitable April, PTNY’s long-standing lead on Cycle the Erie Canal who recently retired. Cycle the Hudson Valley (CTHV), celebrating its second birthday in 2024 (August 4-11!), is PTNY’s north-south, fully-supported tour ushering cyclists from the Capital Region to Rockland County/NYC.

CTHV highlights the iconic food, nature, history, and cultural experiences only available in the Hudson Valley. More than just a bike ride, Cycle the Hudson Valley is an Empire State Trail adventure for cyclists of all ages, abilities, and experience levels… creating a collaborative traveling bike city where new, lasting friendships are forged
