PTNY Pets Takeover!

During the last week of 2022, we had our PTNY pets take over our social media accounts!

2022 gave us so much to be grateful for, and our pets couldn’t agree more. Here’s a little bit about who each pet is and what they love!

Marty LOVES his walks. In 2022, with the publication of our new guidebook, Cycling the Hudson and Champlain Valleys, he got to explore parts of the Empire State Trail he’d never seen before, using our guidebooks to pick from up to 400 miles of trails from Manhattan to Canada!

This lovely pup, Friday, never wanted last year’s adventures to end! Luckily for him and his family, 2022 showed us that there are more parks and trails to explore than ever before, thanks to a record $250 million in capital funding for state parks and a milestone $400 million Environmental Protection Fund investment in our public lands.

Luna LOVED exploring new places - and she has the energy to do so! She’ll have access to the more than 250 State Parks and Historic Sites located across New York State in 2023. Check your local leash laws and regulations just in case, but dogs are welcome everywhere - and there’s bound to be a place near you!

Don’t worry, dogs didn’t get to have all the fun last year. Eleanor might be the most fashion-forward kitty out there, matching her eyes to her surroundings. But, there’s a lot of green to go around thanks to the passing of the $4.2 billion Environmental Bond Act in 2022!
