NYS Glamping
Many state parks provide glamping options such as cabins, cottages, and yurts. More locations for glamping in state parks can be found here.
1. Betty & Wilbur Davis State Park - Central NY
Cottage includes bathroom with shower, electric refrigerator and stove, microwave oven, Television, DVD player, furniture, pillows, bedding, cooking utensils, dishes etc. Picnic table, charcoal grill, and fire pit are located outside the cottages. Cottage rentals include access to swimming facilities at Glimmerglass State Park (17.6 miles from Davis State Park) During Core season cottages 1, 2 and 3 run Friday to Friday and cottages 4, 5 and 6 run Saturday to Saturday. Amenities vary in cabins, so please check in advance of making reservations.
2. Taconic State Park - Taconic Region
Ironworkers Cabin is located in the Copake Falls Area. This cabin has 5 rooms, stove, refrigerator, table w/chairs, flush toilet hot/cold running water, shower, 4 single and 1 full size beds, indoor fireplace & a fire ring/grill. Campers must supply bed/bath linens, pillows & all kitchen equipment. This cabin allows 6 people including children. Reservations for this cabin are for 7 or 14 day stays and can be rented Saturday to Saturday only during Peak season from late June to late August. 3. Allegany State Park - Allegany Region

4. Moreau Lake State Park -Saratoga/Capital Region
The full service cottage has one bedroom with a queen sized bed. The living room has a pull out couch with a full size bed. There is a fully-applianced kitchen with eating area and full bathroom. Outside there is a barbecue and picnic table. There is NO fire ring or fire pit available at this cottage. Friday to Friday reservations with 7 or 14 day stays only. Amenities vary in cabins, so please check in advance of making reservations.
5. Harriman State Park - Palisades Region
The cabin A-3 accommodations are primitive and VERY rustic. This cabin offers 2 bedrooms each with 2 cots and mattresses. The common room has a refrigerator, two burner hot plate, table with chairs. Toilets and showers are located in central comfort stations. Campers must bring their own bed/bath linens and cooking and eating utensils. This cabin is in a wooded area on the main road, across from a comfort station. There is a small porch. Handicap accessible.
Other cottages offer 2 bedrooms each with a queen size mattress. The common room has futon and a kitchen with table and chairs. There is a full bath. Towels, pillows and bedding are all provided. Picnic table and grill are located outside cottage. Cottages are 7 or 14 day reservations only from the end of June to the end of August and are Saturday to Saturday ONLY.

6. Golden Hill State Park - Niagara Region
The Lighthouse Cottage is located on the second floor of Thirty Mile Point Lighthouse. It features a private entrance, three bedrooms with queen size beds, a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils, silverware and dishes, and a full bath. The park will provide blankets, spreads, and pillows. Please provide your own queen size linens and bath towels. There is a beautiful view of Lake Ontario and Golden Hill State Park from the cottage windows. Amenities vary in cabins, so please check in advance of making reservations.
7.Letchworth State Park - Genesee Region
The Letchworth State Park Cabins are located in New York's "Grand Canyon of the East," and one of the most scenically magnificent areas in the eastern U.S. Cabins can be reserved for any 2 nights outside of Peak Season. Cabins in Area A are 7 or 14-day reservations only from the 4th Saturday in June to last Sunday before Labor Day. SATURDAY TO SATURDAY ONLY. Amenities vary in cabins, so please check in advance of making reservations.
8. Fairhaven State Park - Finger Lakes Region
Cabin #34 has 4 rooms with 2 sets of bunk beds, 2 twin beds, refrigerator, cooking stove with oven, hot/cold water, toilet/shower, table with 6 chairs, and a propane fireplace. Cabins 34 and 35 are located in a secluded portion of the bluff away from the main cabin area. This cabin has both a front and a back deck. Amenities vary in cabins, so please check in advance of making reservations.
